What ever happened to a teacher being able to run her / his classroom by themselves?
I was in my sons class room not long ago, not only did the teacher have a an aide but and asst teacher as well talking about over kill in a time when most school bugets are tight.
Back in the day when I was in school (stone age ) there was one teacher for a class of 25 to 30 students, If she/he had a aide it was one of the smart kids in class not a payed adult.
anyone care to tell me what happened.

Its teachers! Yes they are dressing like that in class no less.
call me silly but teacher are professional or so they say when I was in school (back in the stone age) teachers had a dress code , men wore slacks ,dress shirts ,dress shoes and ties . Lady's wore dresses or well tailored pants and tops and closed toes shoes. They look the part of professionals
I can not say that about most teahers in our Distirct.there are a small group who dress the part thank god for them.
